Spring Clean Up

A basic spring clean up includes cleaning out all landscape bed areas and lawn area of winter debris. All leaves, branches, and sticks will be cleaned up. Plus we will we cut back any perennial plants or grasses that were not completed in the Fall.

Other services that are commonly added and done at the same time of year are:

  • Bush or shrub trimming

  • Hard pruning

  • Bed edging

  • Mulch installation

Bed Edging

Manual bed edging is typically done before installing mulch or rock, but can be done at any time to freshen your landscape bed areas. We edge landscape bed areas by hand with a flat shovel. We can also help you reshape or redefine any mulch beds. Edging should be done yearly to keep your landscape beds looking their best.

We also offer installation of long term edging solutions including:

  • Snapped stone edgers

  • Metal edging

  • Concrete edgers

Mulch Installation

Landscape mulch is typically installed each year in the spring after a spring clean up is completed. We install mulch from Spring to Fall. The most common mulch we install is brown or black dyed hardwood mulch. We can also install premium non dyed hardwood mulch or a fine grind hardwood mulch. Mulch provides many benefits to your landscaping including:

  • Instant curb appeal

  • Helps with weed prevention

  • Helps retain soil moisture

  • Improves soil quality over time as it breaks down

  • Fall mulch installation is a great way to protect plants from cold temperatures

We also can also remove existing mulch and install River Rock and other types of decorative gravel.
